March was the busiest month on the server to date. In this article we will cover all the notable events.
Builds
The first order of business is construction. March saw the record for the World’s Tallest Building fall four times. A record that may stand the test of time. This construction boom also brought with it a massive population boom, with the worlds population more than doubling in the past month. Without further ado, here are all the notable builds that completed in March.
March 1st

The City of Giabraltar kicked off its existence at the start of March with the Drommomeir Tower. Drommomeir is an observation tower that was built in the early days of the Gia Empire’s quest for national defense and security. The tower looks over the valley in which the core of Giabraltar resides. It has been deemed an eyesore internationally and some foreign governments have commented that the tower should under go a restyling in order to bring it into the modern age.
March 3rd

March 3rd saw the completion of the Lighthouse Apartments, the first residential building in Giabraltar, Giados. It created housing for 30 villagers upon its completion and overtook Drommomeir Tower for the record of World’s Tallest Building. To this day it is the backbone of the villager housing in Giabraltar and may be for months to come. The penthouse apartment has remained vacant since the completion of the building due to difficulty of access. It is however speculated that it may be purchased soon as the world moves to elytras for transportation.
March 7th

The Carniville Tower was Vendoralis’ first crack at the World’s Tallest Building list. It was received very well by the world upon its completion, claiming its spot as a Silver World Heritage Site. It is primarily used for observation and it also houses the nether portal of Carniville.
March 11th

March 11th is the most important date in history in regards to construction, seeing not one, not two, but three different builds eclipse the twenty block threshold. It is also the day the record for tallest building jumped from 35 blocks to 81.5. Most notably of all however, March 11th marks the date of the first ever Gold Heritage Site with the designation being given to the Sana de Sora Tower in Misamo, Kazuha.
1 Merchants Way was completed mere hours before the Sana de Sora Tower, revoking it of the opportunity to be crowned as the Tallest Building in the World. 1 Merchants Way is home to The Mining Company’s headquarters and the offices of the local stone masons. Many floors in the building are currently vacant, with speculation saying that they will be used to house vast amounts of stone blocks in the future.
Sana de Sora Tower is widely considered to be the pinnacle of architecture. With it’s many roofs, and overall attention to detail, it stands out like no other building can. It is used primarily for observation at this time.
The Gia National Library is arguably the least impressive build completed on this day. It is still however a Bronze Heritage Site. It houses a large librarian population, an enchantment center and will soon be home to the Archives of Giados.
The Pink Nation also joined the construction boom on this day, with the completion of the Pink Mansion. The Pink Mansion was the first notable build within the Pink Nation. It is called home by NotToxicSM and PoopMachine3000.
March 15th

The Melon Tower was completed on March 15th. It is yet to house anything but will eventually be home to an automatic melon farm, hence the name. It looms over the Giados Melon Farm and has slowly become home to villagers who get lost in the farm.
March 17th

The Mystery Apartments are a bit of an enigma. Built directly overtop of Mystery Realty’s Head Office, they are tall enough to join the ranks of the tallest buildings list but they still remain incomplete. Originally planned to be 40-50 blocks tall, construction was halted early over concerns that a building of greater height in the area would completely block out the view of Drommomeir Tower from the streets of the city. This dispute remains ongoing with no real end in sight. For now however, the building has two apartments and is considered to be a waste of resources.
March 20th

The first ever building completed for the sole purpose of hosting the Olympics was the Spleef Tower in Giabraltar, Giados. It is overshadowed by it’s neighbour, 1 Merchants Way. Due to it’s completion date being so far ahead of the Olympics it has been widely assumed that the entire building will be oxidized before it ever sees any use. Some people have strong opinions about this and believe the investment should have been made to wax the copper but it is too late now according to city officials.
March 21st

Just when it seemed that the Spleef Tower couldn’t live in any bigger a shadow, along came the Pingu-Moseby Tower. Standing at 108 Blocks tall, it become the first building to surpass the 100 block mark. It was the tallest building in the world upon completion and it still is at the time of writing. The ground floor houses some of the most famous horses in the world and the tower will be a museum covering the history of horses around the world. The museum is expected to open after the completion of the first Olympic games, as some of the events will involve horses.
March 28th

Vendoralis added another tower to its collection with the completion of the Alchemy Altitudes Tower. This tower is the center of all things potions within Vendoralis. Located in Carniville, it is the tallest building within Vendoralis. It has been subject to more TNT threats than any other building in the world despite its short lifespan thus far. Tune in next month to see if it is gone.
March 31st

The Momo Dojo sends off the month of March with a bang. It will be one of the sites for the first Olympics, with it’s event TBD. It resides in Misamo, Kazuha. It will soon go to vote to become a World Heritage Site. If successful, Kazuha will be the first town to house multiple sites.
Notable Events
With a lack of written history yet to be established for events that are not buildings, there are no dates assigned to the notable events of the month. With more care put into tracking future events, we can only hope next months article will have definitive dates.
